ENGINEERING SIMULATION TECHNIQUES: OUTSTANDING PROJECT AWARD

In recognition of the importance of the university sector to the advancement of numerical simulation, and to encourage undergraduate students to work in these fields, the IMechE and NAFEMS have established a new student competition.

Aimed at those studying an undergraduate degree accredited by the IMechE, and who are completing a project that involves the use of engineering simulation techniques such as finite element analysis, computational fluid dynamics or multi-body dynamics.

Award

Awarded by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and NAFEMS - International Association for the Engineering Modelling, Analysis and Simulation.

  • 1st prize £1,000
  • 2nd prize £500.

How to apply

For full details including rules and regulations and how to apply visit: the NAFEMS website.

Closing date for submissions is 31 May 2021.
