The Institution's first ever video competition for Young Members launches this month. The competition is open to all Young Members - affiliates, associates or any member who has been professionally registered for less than 10 years.
Following on from the success of the Photographer of the Year Competition and feedback via the International Young Members Survey for more online events, the competition invites entrants from across the World.
The theme for this competition is taken from past IMechE President Geoff Baker’s Presidential message: “Engineering in Society”.
Young Members are invited submit a two minute video explaining "what engineering in society means to you in the 21st century". The video could explain how you feel engineering is contributing to society or how it could in the future and how you will develop as a professional to contribute to that vision.
Your video maybe serious, artistic, or fun. Make us want to watch your video, and award you the first prize for your take on engineering.
