REGIONAL EDUCATION OFFICERS

Each of the IMechE’s 16 UK regions has a Regional Education Officer who is a member of their regional committee, working to achieve the Institution’s education and skills goals.

REOs will work with local schools and authorities as well as key national organisations to support STEM Ambassador schemes, outreach, and other educational initiatives. They also have direct links to the Education and Skills Strategy Board as well as Regional Committees. If you would like to find out how you can get involved, you can reach out to your local REO.
