Academic Accreditation Academic Assessor

As an industrial assessor you will work as part of an accreditation visiting team, utilising your expertise and knowledge to credibly assess individual engineering programmes on behalf of the Institution’s Academic Standards Committee (ASC).

The ASC is responsible for conducting accreditation visits, compiling accreditation reports, and approving the accreditation of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in the UK and internationally.

Requirements and training

Observe a minimum of two academic accreditation visits.
Attend a training day online or at IMechE HQ.
Successful applicants will be selected by the ASC.
