We would like to welcome Hassan N Ansari as the newly-elected Chair as well as all the new volunteers who have been elected throughout the international network:
Hassan is an accomplished business executive with 37-year successful, demonstrated-leadership professional history (C-Level 15 years); delivering to challenges in diverse international organisations. He worked in Nigeria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and in the UK; conducting business internationally across China, Asia, Gulf, MENA and Europe.
Hassan obtained a Mechanical Engineering & Energy Studies degree from University of Wales, UC Cardiff in 1983. He started his career with ICI plc-ICI Pakistan, rising to senior levels. He was elected as a Fellow in 2006.
His experience includes industrial policy, strategy, projects excellence, HSE, consulting, technology, operational excellence, SEZs petrochemicals, chemicals steel, power, manufacturing, oil and gas, and electricity distribution. He directly contributed in policy planning and execution of BRI (CPEC) in Pakistan.
The Institution would like to take the opportunity to especially thank all the international volunteers who have stood down this year. Their contribution has made a significant difference to raise the profile of the Institution as well as support the international membership to grow. The work of the volunteers is an essential part of the Institution, without which we wouldn’t be achieving the successes we have seen over the last few years, especially in the international arena.
We welcome all members to join the Institution in congratulating the newly elected Regional representatives for the international network.
