House repairs or adaptations loans

If you are a homeowner, and an IMechE member (or relative of a member), and need additional lump sum finance, we may be able to offer you an interest-free loan.

The loan would be secured against your property, and would only fall to be repaid when the property is sold. Support Network would assist with the legal fees in establishing the loan, and initial loans usually start at £5K. 

Loans are typically awarded to complete the finance required to undertake disability adaptations, replace a roof, to meet care costs, or various large project costs. Loans can also be awarded for other purposes.
