Worried things might fall apart?

Parenting can be a challenge as well as a joy at the best of times, and this is not the best of times. If you are concerned about the juggling of work, childcare and family matters, or anything else family related, please get in touch. We offer a range of useful advice and support to Institution members with pre-school and school-age children/grandchildren.

We can help IMechE members and their families to access:

  • Employment advice for working parents
  • Rights and support on returning to work and/or finding a new job
  • Counselling and Coaching support for parents and/or children
  • Disability diagnosis and assessments
  • A listening ear and respite breaks
  • Specialist referrals
  • Advice and support for new parents
  • New Baby Grants as well as support towards additional costs and childcare throughout childhood
