social visits & calls

We introduced our social visiting service following a comment from one of our beneficiary couples that our volunteer visitor was the only guest they had had that year.

We welcome applications from people who either want to receive regular visits, or who would like to volunteer to make them.  A mutual benefit often arises between the parties, who we carefully match on the basis of common interests, including employment history or aspirations, and as this service operates outside of our grant-making activities, there is no discussion of users’ financial means.
