Summary

The Value Engineering process is a systematic and creative method used to increase the value of a product or service. It is a technique used to reduce the cost of a product or service while retaining quality, reliability and safety.

Value Engineering techniques can be applied to a range of organisations including government, engineering, construction and service industries, and to an item such as a machine, product or tooling, a service, system, process, procedure or a method of working.

This course allows candidates to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills required to undertake the Value Engineering process with a focus on the engineering, product and service sectors. This course incorporates a mix of theory and practical sessions to ensure you have the opportunity to apply the tools and techniques being presented.
