BBC micro:bit competition

Judges needed for BBC micro:bit competition

The Institution of Mechanical Engineers has partnered with the BBC to support a competition launching this autumn featuring the BBC micro:bit. The competition, in collaboration with another exciting BBC brand, will help nurture design skills among school children and promote digital literacy in schools.

Can you bring your engineering and design expertise to be one of our judges? We need your skills to help select the winning entries. The competition combines an emphasis on computing and technology as well as sport. You will help inspire the next generation of inventors, designers and sports scientists. The competition launches in October, with judging happening mainly in early 2025. No prior experience is needed, and details on the judging process will be available nearer the time.
