Frederic Barnes Waldron Best Student Award

Awarded each academic year to an undergraduate, i.e. someone who is studying for their first degree, who is considered to be the ‘Best Student’.

The awardee must be:

• an IMechE Affiliate member
• who will be awarded an IMechE accredited degree.

Eligibility

• Members, worldwide.

Award conditions

• Administered by the Institution's Awards Department on behalf of the IMechE Regions but is awarded annually on the recommendation of a university's Head of Department.
• This award is for an individual student and cannot be split
• One award is made per university.

Value of award

• Certificate and bronze medal.

Application process

Nominations are to be received from the student's head of department.
