Initial Professional Development (IPD) Accreditation Assessor
IPD Accreditation Assessors serve as accreditation visit panel chairs on behalf of the Professional Development Standards Committee (PDSC). Working as part of a team, the assessors utilise their expertise and knowledge to credibly assess company IPD schemes against the Institution’s competence development framework, the Monitored Professional Development Scheme (MPDS).
The PDSC plays a crucial role in the engineering community by setting and maintaining the Institution’s standards for Initial Professional Development, primarily achieved through the accreditation process.
