I have been working for the IMechE since April 2023 and my main responsibilities are providing guidance and support to prospective applicants and promoting the benefits of professional registration within industry and education.
Being a part of the applicant’s journey from start to finish is the most rewarding part of the job, getting to meet highly skilled individuals and helping them showcase their achievements in industry.
My career highlight so far is completing my first in-person Application Workshop and many more since then. From this I got a real understanding of the whole process and how rewarding it is for both myself and the applicant. The valuable feedback I have received has given me the confidence to improve future sessions.
