This week the Institution’s comments on the approval of new HS2 routes were covered in a number of high-profile news outlets including the BBC News. There was also a variety of media coverage for events such as the Institution taking the Bloodhound SuperSonic car to a girls school in Kent and an agreement signed between the Institution and the Oman Society for Petroleum Services to develop engineering skills.

  Article about the Bromsgrove Society joined with members of the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers to unveil two plaques in memory of two engineers who worked to build the Bromsgrove line in the 19th century.
