Bentley Motors has launched its 2017 trainee recruitment campaign with 60 positions available for apprentices, undergraduates and graduates to start in autumn 2017.
Applications are now open at www.bentleycareers.com until November 27th, with vacancies in engineering and manufacturing as well as sales and marketing and finance and purchasing.
Marlies Rogait, member of the board for human resources at Bentley, said: “Each of our schemes offer a solid foundation upon which to build the skills and knowledge required to become experts and professionals in their chosen field.
“We continue to demonstrate our commitment to future talent by recruiting in significant numbers and 2017 is no exception. We are looking to attract extraordinary candidates – Bentley experts of tomorrow – who can add to our already highly-skilled and passionate workforce.”
Bentley, which is based in Crewe, Cheshire, has recently received national recognition for its future talent and skills development programmes after being named as a top employer for the fifth consecutive year.
Bentley’s three and four year apprenticeships programme has 22 positions available. The majority of apprentices will be undertaking the manufacturing programme, learning skills within areas such as wood, paint and mechatronics. The first year of their programme will include theoretical learning at South Cheshire College, before working in practical areas of manufacturing at Bentley.
The graduate scheme has 13 vacancies and is a two-year development programme where recruits are given the opportunity to work on business projects, working in a specific department, or across a number of functions.
The undergraduate scheme, which has 25 places, is a 12-month development programme focused on undergraduate degree students looking to complete a year out in industry as part of their studies.
Bentley also has a role in the recently opened University Technical College in Crewe. Focused on Engineering and Design, the school offers education for 14-18 year olds seeking a pathway to future employment.
