Bosch continue to support Formula Student

Bosch are delighted to be once again involved in the biggest and best student motorsport competition this year.

For the first time Bosch are sponsoring two Formula Student teams: Oxford Brookes Racing, and Brunel Racing and can’t wait to see what they, and all the other teams have to offer on the track!

Recently Bosch have held our very own warm up event at MIRA’s proving ground, one of the largest, most comprehensively specified and truly independent automotive proving grounds in the world. At the event on 27th June the teams were put through their paces to ensure they area fully prepped and raring to go ahead of the main event at Silverstone.

Arun Srinivasan, Senior Vice President Mobility Solutions Sales in the UK had this to say about #FS17:

“We find ourselves in a resurgent period in UK's automotive industry and at a time when the car is undergoing a significant 'makeover' thanks to electrification, connected and automated driving. The need for good, qualified engineers with skills that bridge the traditional world and the ‘digital’ world, has never been greater. This is becoming more evident as automotive systems get ever more complex. The vision of the IMechE is to improve the world through engineering by inspiring the next generation. Bosch is a leading global supplier of technology and services and to ensure we maintain our global innovative edge we need the very best young engineers. Our aim is to attract youngsters into engineering and young engineers into Bosch.”
