To book your free place, please visit the event website on the IET website.

This is a collaboration with Urban-Air Port (UAP), an innovative aerial infrastructure developer, and the Aerospace Partnership, composed of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).

The event will enable attendees to experience and learn more about the latest developments in the future flight industry. It will also highlight ways for individuals with STEM backgrounds to learn about career opportunities in the air mobility sector and get involved in shaping the future of flight.

The event will be held at the Air One facility – the world’s first fully operational vertiport (take-off & landing hub) for eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) aircraft and drone technology, situated at Coventry, the 2021 UK City of Culture. The venue is designed as an immersive experience where guests can tour the Air One vertiport and learn about the promise of sustainable future air mobility solutions.

This networking event will bring together current professionals of the future flight industry and those who aspire to start their career in this field. This opportunity is primarily developed for PG students, early careers, and those looking to make a career move into drones and Urban Air Mobility.

The evening will consist of a keynote address, followed by a facility tour led by the UAP team. The attendees will then hear an expert panel discussion and a Q&A. Finally, there will be a networking opportunity for all attendees to conclude the event.
