Celebrating IMechE Fellows in the New Year’s Honours List 2022

This year, five IMechE Fellows were recognised in the New Year’s Honours List 2022!

The Institution of Mechanical Engineers would like to extend their congratulations to the following Fellows:

• Dr Douglas Edwin Oakervee Kt CBE FICE FIMechE FREng who received Knight Bachelor for his services to Transport and Infrastructure Delivery
• Professor Benjamin Charles Hodgkinson BEM CEng FIMechE who received Medal of the Order of the British Empire for services to the NHS during Covid-19
• Alexander Mark Burns OBE CEng FIMechE who received Officer of the Order of the British Empire for services to the UK Automotive Industry
• Dr Clive Hickman OBE CEng FIMechE FREng who received Officer of the Order of the British Empire for services to Engineering, Manufacturing and Technology Department
• Professor Alan Michael Cottenden MBE CEng FIMechE MIMMM who received Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for services to Sufferers of Incontinence.
