"Emerging Trends and Challenges in Industries" at Moradabad Institute of Technology, India

The day emphasised the importance of bridging the gap between industry and academia.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Moradabad Institute of Technology, successfully organised a one-day session of expert talks on 29 February 2020.

Under the title “Emerging Trends and Challenges in Industries,”  the day was organised with the guidance and support of IMechE India Branch. Hundred students along with five faculty members attended the session.

Mohd Talha Khan, Assistant Professor, ME and ALO, IMechE gave the welcome address and shared his views on the objectives of the organising the talk by industry experts.

Mr. Piyush Sethi, Corporate Head, Positive Plastics and Chaiman YMP IMechE gave a talk on the “Opportunities for Young Technocrats in Industries” which are provided by IMechE.

Dr Syrish Raghuyal, Managing Director, Positive Plastics and Chairman North India Region, IMechE delivered the keynote talk on “Injection Moulding Process of Positive Plastics Group”.

This was followed by speech of Prof Dr Rohit Garg, Director MIT Moradabad who thanked industry experts for coming to the Institute and also emphasised the importance of bridging the gap between industry and academia.

At the close of the session, Prof. (Dr.) Munish Chhabra, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering thanked all the students and organising team for successful conduction of the session.
