ExxonMobil bring the excitement of Grand Prix racing to Formula Student

Read on to hear why you need to look out for them at Silverstone!

ExxonMobil are Red Bull Racing’s Technology Partner and are best known for their Esso and Mobil brands. They are proud to continue their support of Formula Student and are excited to see what the teams bring to the competition. As part of their presence on site at Silverstone, where they are bringing a Grand Prix car simulator and a dedicated careers stand, ExxonMobil will be giving away eight places on a factory visit to Red Bull Racing on 22 August 2017. This is your chance to see how a Formula OneTM team operates behind the scenes and get inspired for the next season of Formula Student.

To be in with a chance to win an exclusive tour of Red Bull Racing’s factory, there are three ways to enter!

Visit the ExxonMobil Careers Stand

Located in the Exhibition area to the left of the Paddock Stage, ExxonMobil will be on hand to discuss career opportunities post-Formula Student. Whether you are interested in the ExxonMobil Energy Challenge and your chance to secure an undergraduate placement, graduate positions or details of experienced professional positions, the team will be on hand to tell you more. While you are there, put your name down to enter the prize draw for one of two places on the Red Bull Racing factory tour.

Get the ExxonMobil Innovation Award

Throughout the competition, judges from ExxonMobil will be on the lookout for teams that impress or demonstrate interesting solutions to the engineering challenges during Formula Student. Do keep an eye open for representatives in your garage across the competition and feel free to talk to them about what you have been up to in the run up to Silverstone.

Up for grabs for the winning team is a personalised trophy for your team’s cabinet together with places for five of your team members to join the Red Bull Racing factory tour!

Take the ExxonMobil Grand Prix Challenge

Do you have what it takes to be the best? Get the need for speed and show your driving abilities in a full-sized Grand Prix car racing simulator, located in the Race Control building. Organised by ExxonMobil, and open to teams and members of the public, they will be keeping a leaderboard running across the event to see who has the fastest lap time at Formula Student 2017. Take a true test of racing skill and secure not just bragging rights: the winner will join the Red Bull Racing factory tour in August!

Make sure you meet ExxonMobil at Silverstone!
