Formula Student 2024 launched

Save the date: 17-21 July 2024. Join us for the next chapter of the Formula Student competition!

Following the 25th Anniversary competition in July and a very short summer break, the IMechE is delighted to announce the dates for the next Formula Student competition!

Open to all teams of undergraduate and postgraduate university students, we look forward to welcoming new and returning teams back for another exciting year of designing, building and racing single seater racecars.

The registration process and fees have been freshly updated for FS2024 and can be found on the Team Registration page of the Formula Student website.

As always, the first stage of the registration process is to set up your FS team account, download a copy of the Design Concept Specification document (also available on the Forms and Documents page), complete the form and send this by Friday 8 December 2023 at 1700 UTC via your FS team account.

The ruleset for FS2024 is being finalised and will be available just before the Learn to Win 2024 event takes place. As per FS2023, the UK competition's rules will accommodate teams taking part in European Formula Student competitions and the IMechE and the FS Organising Committee would like to extend a warm invitation to any overseas teams to join our event this year.
