Tell us a bit more about Ricardo UK, for those who don’t know already!

Ricardo is a global engineering, strategic and environmental consultancy, with over 2,900 professional engineers, scientists and consultants around the world. Across our teams are technical experts regarded as among the best in the world within their chosen field. They are specialists with deep understanding of the technologies that drive their industries, as well as the frameworks, structures and standards that underpin them. Through our multi-industry knowledge and deep technical expertise, we are uniquely positioned to handle our clients’ toughest strategic and operational challenges, with assignments that have included strategy development, cost reduction, safety management, regulatory compliance and environmental impact assessments. In addition to our technical consultancy services, we have in-house engineering capabilities that enable us to design and deliver high-quality prototypes and low-volume manufacturing of complex products and assemblies, including engines, transmissions, electric motors and generators, battery packs and fuel cell systems.

And, across everything we do, in every assignment we undertake, we remain committed to the ethos of our founder, Sir Harry Ricardo, one of the most innovative engineers of his time, who in 1915 set out on a mission to ‘maximise efficiency and eliminate waste’.

What new activities are you excited to share in 2018 onward?

Our Graduate Open Days will be taking place in November, at our Technical Centres in Warwickshire and Sussex.  Register interest on our Open Days website. Applications for our Graduate Academy and Development Engineer Schemes also open in September, more information and application is online at our Graduate Scheme website.
