“Advanced Ozonator Technology” - international technical talk in India

Mr. Giuliano Barella from Italy gave a technical talk on ‘Advanced Ozonator Technology in Waste Water Treatment Applications’ to members of the IMechE India Branch North Panel Division.

Mr. Giuliano Barella, Manager Asia Pacific, De Nora Water from Italy, has 11 years experience and a proven record of achievements in the water treatment field for complex plants and heat transfer equipment.

The talk took place on 31 August 2018, in north India with active participation from IMechE members, IMechE North India panel members and mechanical engineers from across the industry.

Also present  were Mr Senthil Appaian, Regional Sales Manager – South Asia, De Nora  and Mr. Ravi Kochak - Vice Chair, SAR, Retired from Indian Railways from IMechE.

The event started off in the presence of industry experts  such as Fluor and Atkins with a welcome address by Mr. Vishal Goyal, Senior Engineer, Atkins and North Panel Secretary, IMechE, who also introduced the agenda for the whole event. The event was fully sponsored by Atkins -SNC India Ltd with over 30 members and non-members joining in online through tool Skype and present in the hall.

Mr. Barella explained and discussed Ozonator Technology, one of the advance technology used widely in many water and waste water treatment applications.

The programme ended with the keynote address by Mr. Ravi Shankar Kochak giving an insight about IMechE and its membership, focusing on member engagement and retention.
