IMechE Presidential Address 2025: Trust me, I'm An Engineer

22 May 2025: We invite you to One Birdcage Walk, London, for the inaugural address of our 140th President Matt Garside CEng FIMechE MIET.

Matt will expand upon the idea of Trust, which will be the theme for his upcoming presidential year. The address is a great opportunity to hear Matt’s insights on the role of engineering, as one of the most trusted professions, to influence and shape society. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the direction of travel for the Institution, and to network with colleagues within IMechE and the wider engineering community.

The address will be followed by a networking reception which is free and open to all, and the opportunity to register for a seated dinner in the Institution’s historic library.
