Presentation at STUG in 2023

13-14 March 2024 at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester.

Early Bird ends 12 January 2024: visit www.imeche.org/stug for full agenda, presenters, and registration to join this year’s event.

The Institution of Mechanical Engineers is delighted to highlight the first of its 2024 User Groups, beginning with the Steam Turbine and Generator User Group (STUG).

Taking place annually for over 15 years, STUG continues to bring together a dedicated community of engineers, operators, manufacturers, service providers, maintenance professionals and asset experts.

Speaking about last year’s User Group, one of the attendees from Uniper Technologies remarked "STUG is a great event to mix with other professionals and specialists working specifically with steam turbines and generally within the power station environment"

Comprised of two days of technical presentations, peer-reviewed by a dedicated committee of senior engineers, the User Group provides an important forum to highlight technical developments, share success stories and lessons learned from the last 12 months and address shared challenges surrounding efficiency, asset up time, plant upgrades, competitiveness and much more.

Highlights across this 2024 User Group include input made by Ansaldo Energia, Siemens, GE Vernova Consulting Services, Arnold Group, Toshiba International (Europe), EDF Energy, Uniper, National Electric Coil, Moove Lubricants, Suez, Doosan Skoda Power and many more.

Dedicated breaks, discussion panels and a complimentary evening reception and dinner also provide unparalleled opportunities for engineers to network and make valuable connections with like-minded peers across the industry.

View full event details and register to join via the event website www.imeche.org/stug or contact the IMechE directly via eventenquiries@imeche.org.
