Are you ready to discover what a career in mechanical engineering really looks like? As a mechanical engineer, you could pursue a whole host of diverse roles in industries such as sustainable transport, healthcare and sport. Sound interesting? Springpod and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers have partnered up to provide a fantastic programme to show you what’s out there within the vast and varied world of mechanical engineering.

The interactive programme will be running across the October half-term from 23-27 October 2023. The virtual work experience is free and accessible to all students aged +13 worldwide and features e-learning materials, activities, videos, quizzes and live webinars that provide participants with an insight into the exciting world of mechanical engineering. The work experience programme provides an overview of the profession and covers how engineers tackle global challenges and improve people’s lives. Students will engage with industry experts and learn about diverse opportunities in roles linked to climate change and sustainability, the future of transport, sports engineering and healthcare.
