MAHLE Powertrain Ltd continue their support of Formula Student

Formula Student is excited to confirm that MAHLE Powertrain Ltd. have confirmed their continued involvement in the competition and will once again join as an event sponsor.

A regular sight in the paddock area at Silverstone, they will have an increased presence this year, a move that reaffirms the company’s support of Europe’s biggest educational engineering event, which will see 130 teams from over 30 countries participate this July.

"Projects like IMechE's Formula Student help the participants to develop the additional skills, knowledge, attitudes and behaviours, to become the competent and well-rounded Engineers that are essential for MAHLE to excel in our industry" said Chris Roberts, Head of HR, MAHLE Powertrain Ltd.

As part of their commitment to supporting the next generation of engineering talent,  MAHLE Powertrain will be continuing sponsorship of Formula Student teams over the next years. This will enable teams to benefit from MAHLE Powertrain’s expertise and services to succeed in the competition and enhance their learning.

In addition to their support of the teams, MAHLE Powertrain Ltd. will also feature a strong presence at the Formula Student event at Silverstone. Be sure to visit their stand in the paddock area, where they will be on hand to demonstrate some of their innovative powertrain technologies, together with a unique car display and competitions across the weekend. Students will also get the opportunity to compete in the MAHLE Motorsport Arcade App challenge, with a Top Gear style leader board and shoot-out at the end of the weekend! Look out for the MAHLE Powertrain 1 minute Video Challenge in the lead up to the event for a chance to win valuable support for your team.

For all students looking for an industrial placement year or graduate role, MAHLE Powertrain will also be launching their new recruitment programme on site at Silverstone.
