New online modules available for engineers looking to specialise in aerodynamics for racing applications.

Alongside the MIA School of Race Engineering, the Motorsport Industry Association offers a brand-new series of additional Online Modules, designed to help attendees understand the theory behind Race Engineering. These technical Online Modules will be taught by world-class, race-winning engineers who will use their experience to teach everything needed before you get to the racetrack.

Kicking off this new series on Saturday 18 July 2020 is our F1 Aerodynamics Online Module featuring two expert F1 engineers - Willem Toet, Aerodynamics Specialist at Sauber and Dominic Harlow, Motorsport Engineer at the FIA.

The module will include:

  • The basic principles of F1 aerodynamics
  • The engineering behind F1 aero devices
  • How to improve performance using wind tunnel, CFD and track testing
  • How to achieve the optimum aerodynamic set-up at the racetrack

PLUS - get the unique opportunity to ask our F1 tutors questions during two live Q&A sessions.
