New Stainless Steel A30S4E Free-stand enclosure: Protecting vital technologies in the world’s toughest environments

Pentair introduces the Hoffman® metric-sized, A30S4E stainless steel, free-stand enclosure designed specifically to house systems incorporating large components or complex mounting configurations for use in the European market. Fulfilling IP66, IK10 and NEMA Type 4X industrial standards, as well as being UL-listed, the A30S4E has been developed specially for rugged, heavy duty applications in harsh environments.

The three-point latching and IP66-sealing provide industry-leading protection from the ingress of dust, dirt, oil and water. Its unique features are specifically designed for use in oil and gas industry, petrochemical plants, pulp and paper facilities and waste-water treatment plants, as well as textile and other similar industries. However, these same features also apply to the pharmaceutical processing and food and beverage sector.

Providing maximum design flexibility the A30S4E stainless steel enclosures are available in four different styles – one-door, single-access (single door on front), one-door, dual-access (single door on front and rear), two-door, single-access (removable centerpost) and two-door, dual-access (doors closed on a removable centerpost on front and rear).

Pentair excels in product modification and customization to specific requirements and offers the A30S4E free-stand enclosures in different sizes, with holes and cutouts, window kits, no plinth or 200 mm high plinth, sunshields and different thickness gland plates. A variety of accessories is also available, including a galvanized steel mounting plate with assembly kit, 4 lifting eye kits (304 or 316L stainless steel), LED light kits and a zinced door-stop kit.
