Mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic actuated power take off units, critical links in the powertrain of a machine or vehicle providing excellent overall performance and value.
Mechanical power take-offs in sizes up to SAE 21, these reliable devices are ideal for a wide range of basic actuation installations. When operator access is complicated by machinery configuration a line of remotely actuated mechanical PTOs is available, offering safer, easier operation and greater equipment design flexibility.
Applications for hydraulic clutches are similar to those for the mechanical PTOs. Hydraulic clutches available with either wet or dry clutches can be used wherever a disconnect is required between the driven equipment and the prime mover.
An example is the standard RO PTO, a hydraulic or pneumatically-actuated mechanical clutch. The RO PTO allows users to engage remotely and has been developed with a number of unique features that offer reliability, productivity and power, including: greasable shaft bearings, a permanently sealed pilot bearing and field retrofit kit option. The RO PTO is suitable for a wide range of heavy-duty applications including crushers, grinders and mulchers.
The latest development in the industrial products line is hydraulic PTOs. These units are available in side-load straddlebearing clutched models, in-line clutched models and non-clutched models. There are a wide range of options in models of PTO for a wide range of applications. For further information please visit https://www.jbj.co.uk/mechanical-power-conversion.html
