Institution News Team
We are pleased to confirm that the Railway Challenge Steering Committee has taken the decision to invite teams to participate in a hybrid event.
This will include virtual non-track challenges and a physical track-based competition. Subject to UK Government guidance and regulations, the track-based challenges will take place on 25-27 June 2021 at Stapleford Miniature Railway.
There will be some changes in the way we operate the event this year and we will be issuing additional details and COVID related protocols to teams on 10 May 2021.
The Business Proposition Challenge will take place online prior to the final and details will be circulated shortly.
Teams not able to participate in the live track-based challenges, can still participate in the Business Proposition Challenge and the other paper-based Challenges (Design Challenge, Technical Poster Challenge and Innovation Challenge). Deadlines for submission of documents for these challenges are unchanged and as set out in the rules.
Further guidance will be communicated to teams on 10 May 2021 and a webinar will be held on 12 May 2021 to clarify and answer any questions regarding the event.
All participants are encouraged to follow the Railway Challenge’s Twitter and Facebook social media channels and Challenge website for further competition updates.
