Partners will design, manufacture and market power sub-systems

Raytheon UK and Falck Schmidt Defence Systems have signed a partnership agreement to design, manufacture and market power sub-systems and platform integration services.

The partnership will combine Raytheon's capabilities in the design, manufacture, test and supply of integrated power solutions with Falck Schmidt's experience in platform integration and auxiliary power systems.

Stephen Doran, managing director of Raytheon's Power & Control business, said: "Raytheon is investing considerably to develop its advanced power products, leveraging our credentials in military and space-grade design, manufacture and supply chain to solve customers' demanding, platform size, weight and power density challenges.

"Our alignment with Falck Schmidt will enable us to continue to offer customers a 'one-stop' approach to ensure our clients can take mission system electronics to market simpler, safer and swifter."

The companies will market their combined capabilities and products throughout Europe and North America.
