Wessex Region Chairman, Nick Schulkins MBE, has called for local members to get involved in the region's Engineering Excellence Awards.
Members of the Wessex Regional committee are encouraging local members and businesses to support the inaugural Wessex Region Engineering Excellence Awards and Annual Dinner to be held at Winchester Guildhall on 9 October. Nominations are being sought for the following categories by 31 July 2015:
Nick Schulkins said: “The region has many talented engineers and businesses that the Institution wishes to recognise. We are encouraging all local businesses to enter the awards, share their success with fellow regional companies, and to reward their hardworking staff with an opportunity to be at the dinner.” The Institution’s President, Professor Richard Folkson, will present the awards and former racing driver and Fifth Gear television presenter, Tiff Needell will be the guest speaker. Headline sponsor of the event is Trant Engineering Ltd. Members and employers can also nominate individuals to be considered for awards in the following categories:
