ARMED FORCES LEAVERS & VETERANS FUND

After completing your armed forces service, adapting to civilian life and employment can be challenging – for you and your family. It is for that reason that Support Network has created an ‘Armed Forces Leavers & Veterans’ fund – a specific programme to help Members* in or approaching the first two years of their post armed service careers.

Higher levels of funding are available during this period to help with the transitional costs of entering employment, relocating and setting up home. Funding can help with:

• Employment advice and CV refresh
• Rent and/or rental deposits
• Relocation costs
• Childcare costs
• Train and/or underground season tickets
• Autism and dyslexia support
• Debt, loans and money management advice
• Smoothing the impact of repaying loans
• Counselling for you or your family
• Access to wellbeing, nutrition, parenting and financial management webinars

*Applicants must be, or in the process of applying to be, an IMechE member at a paying grade of membership
