TRIZ is now based on the systematic study of over 7 million successful innovation attempts. It offers problem solvers ready access to a database of breakthrough solutions to complex problems. One of the key findings of the TRIZ research is that ‘someone, somewhere already solved your problem’. The basis of this finding is that the ‘someone’ is most likely to be in a different industry to the one we are working in. The webinar will demonstrate how TRIZ enables problems solvers to make effective bridges between different domains and disciplines in order to help mitigate many of the risks usually present in any innovation activity. Recognising that Engineers are already some of the most effective problem solvers on the planet, the webinar will also show how TRIZ enables engineers to define much stronger problems. In many ways, the most powerful aspect of TRIZ is this ability to define the ‘right’ problem. Central to this idea is the discovery that what distinguishes the 98% of innovation attempts that fail from the 2% that succeeded is that the 2% successfully revealed, resolved and eliminated the trade-offs and compromises that we normally take for granted.
Our webinar is designed to appeal to anyone tasked with working on difficult problems or leading innovation projects.
This webinar will provide you with the ability and confidence to get started on the journey of using TRIZ. The original toolkit was complicated and required significant experience before it could be used effectively. As the webinar will demonstrate, one of the main evolution jumps in the TRIZ story has been to embrace computer technologies in order to massively accelerate the problem definition and solution generation processes. After the webinar, participants will be able to define better problems and tap in to and know how to use the main TRIZ solution databases.
Upon attendance of the webinar, delegates will:
