Summary

Qualification and certification of metal additive manufacturing processes, personnel, equipment, materials and parts.

Understanding the challenges of qualification to enable additive manufactured metals and component parts to be placed on the market and into service.

Who should attend?

This course is designed for:

  • Engineers operating additive manufacturing facilities who are looking to move from prototypes/demonstrators to production of parts for regulated industries
  • Purchasers of additive manufactured materials and parts that need a deeper understanding of the processes for quality control of their supply chain

How will I benefit?

After the course you will be able to:

  • Establish the quality control systems necessary to meet regulatory and standards requirements for additive manufacturing
  • Determine what level of testing and inspection is necessary for different applications
  • Produce supporting evidence for the qualification of additive manufacturing equipment and processes, and the certification of additive manufactured materials and parts
Contributes 7 CPD hours
